The dishy daughter of actress/drama teacher Julie Wharton, most recently seen in Infected (2015), and Bruce David Wharton, U.S. Ambassador to Zimbabwe from 2012-15, Sarah Wharton excels at dialects such as South African and Irish…and speaks with tongues in the award-winning That’s Not Us (2015)–nibbling on the nipples of her longtime lesbian lover in the film, Nicole Pursell. “It’s been a little dry,” her character tells a gay guy-pal about their stale Sapphic sex life. “Like the Sahara, for the last couple of months.” But soon ‘Sahara Sarah’ goes from desert to dessert–pie, that is–in the slice of life drama. I was dismissed…and told I was ‘too aristocratic’ for the part.
